Research seminar 2023
This year's research seminar took place at the IAT from 14-16 August, where internal and external doctoral students presented their current research topic and the progress of the past year. The focus was on the intensive discussion of all research topics. This was accompanied by breaks for further exchange and a joint dinner. On Thursday, in perfect weather conditions, the group went to the Aachen Climbing Forest near the Belgian border. The focus was on having fun at dizzying heights on various courses of varying degrees of difficulty. In the afternoon, after joint preparation with the entire IAT team, a barbecue was held in the courtyard of the Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy. Thanks to all the helping hands and the circle of friends, without whom the whole thing would not have been possible in this form!
